Le temple d’Apollon
For the renovation of this apartment in the theater district of the 9th arrondissement of Paris, we completed the extensive renovation work under the supervision of the Véronique COTREL agency, the project manager. From the very first visit, a beautiful collaboration emerged between the clients, the architects, and the apartment, which already boasted an exceptional location, natural light, view, and proportions. After the initial design phase, the project focused on materials: stone and natural wood.
The dining room, located on the courtyard side, features a steel bow window that diffuses soft light. The kitchen, slightly open to the dining room, is separated by an opening whose piers were reproduced in plaster for perfect integration. On the street side, the office and living room house a natural wood library, adding a touch of warmth without compromising the original elements.
The living room, without a television, is richly decorated to host friends, with carefully selected vintage pieces. The master suite, an extension of the living room, includes a bedroom area, a dressing room, and a bathroom separated by a ribbed glass partition. The headboard in oak veneer and the bathroom in “Serpegiante Grey” marble bring timeless elegance. The second bathroom, in Terrazzo, is naturally lit and tastefully arranged.
